Found an interesting piece of information

In an article on prnewswire.com, I found an interesting piece of information about the ATF it says, "ATF, the US's smallest but most elite law enforcement agency is the federal government's frontline defenders against the worst of the worst criminals related to violent crimes involving explosives, arson and illegal firearms. The Bureau -- which employs agents in 25 field divisions and of which little is publicly known -- investigates and prevents unlawful use, manufacturing and possession of firearms and explosives, as well as arsons, bombings, and the illegal trafficking of alcohol and tobacco."

Should help me a bit in this paper.

Some Research I Have Found

This is straight from the LAPD website about their cadets having tattoos, "Q: Will my tattoos affect my ability to become an officer?
A: It depends on the nature of the tattoo(s). Candidates with tattoos are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with tattoos who are subsequently hired must ensure that the tattoos are not visible to the public while on-duty"

I have also found that many government jobs whether it be the ATF, DEA, FBI, etc. don't care if you have tattoos as long as said tattoos are not visible to when your are in your uniform such as the tattoo being on your head, neck, and hand but also the tattoo must not be anything obscene, racist or gang-related. Their main goal is to keep their agents looking good so the public knows that they are same from our countries enemies.

Just Read a Article About the Marine Corps' Policy on Tattoos

In an article on marinesmagazine.dodlive.mil , I read that the Marine Corps is cracking down on the art of tattooing so that their soldiers who leave the Corps can actually get jobs such as in law enforcement. They say that if the soldiers have to many tattoos it may hinder their ability to apply for a job and get accepted but it may also hurt them when they become civilians again. For example, and interviewee in the article states that he has talked to former Marines who can't even get a job at a fast food place because of the tattoos they got in the Corp. If I were in this boat, I would probably never get tattoos or even go as far as getting them removed completely.

This Paper is One of the Hardest in my Life

As this paper comes to an end I am still lost and confused as to what to include in my paper or not. Even though my paper is about ATF agents and their tattoos I can only find deep info about the police forces and the military. I even tried to follow my professor's advice and look at other branches of government sponsored law enforcements such as the DEA, FBI, etc.
